Programs

At Maple Tree Academy, we focus only on children six weeks to six years old. We do this so we can create the specialized programs required to meet the unique needs of young children. We understand how quickly children grow and develop which is why we offer programs for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergartners. Because we believe learning is so important for young children, we operate year-round with a 36-week school program and a 12-week summer program.

Infants

Ages 6 weeks to 18 months

Our infant classroom offers a peaceful, warm environment that fosters physical, social and emotional development that has been created especially for your infant. Teachers provide a loving and nurturing atmosphere for your child to develop.

Toddlers

Ages 18- 36 months

Children in the Toddler Room are developing their independence through opportunities in language development, motor development and self-help skills. The environment and materials are designed so children can confidently, and actively participate in their development and growth. Materials in this environment allow children to develop their independence through multiple sensorial experiences in language, math, and practical life activities.

Primary

Ages 3-5 years old

The Primary classroom is a community where children learn to ihnteract socially in a variety of ways. The mixed age group allows for a variety of levels where children can work at their own payce independently or within a group. The materials in this classroom foster math, science, geography, language and practical lie skills that develop confidence, self-esteem and a love for learning.

Preschool

We have carefully planned our preschool to create an atmosphere that inspires curiosity and independence. Our learning materials and teaching methods combine to refine the student's fine motor skills, concentration, and problem-solving abilities techniques that are also beneficial in memory care programs. Our teachers pride themselves on creating a non-competitive environment where each child is challenged and encouraged to do their best.  Preschool is where they will begin to establish their foundation in reading, writing, math, science and geography.

Schedule Options

We offer several options to meet you and your child's specific needs. You can choose from our half-day, extended day, and full-day schedules.

• Half-Day
  8:30am - 12:30pm
  Morning snack and lunch will be provided.
• Full-Day
  8:30am - 3:30pm
  Morning and afternoon snack and lunch will be provided.
• Before and After School Care
  7:30am - 8:30am and 3:30pm - 4:00pm
  *Limited availability for full-time students only.
